One Elvis sang only songs from the movie "King Creole" while another Elvis sang only songs from the Aloha concert. Some songs were well known and other weren't. There were ladies in the audience who gave roses and leis to each Elvis. Others lined up for the "kiss" or the familiar scarf. The youngest female fan was around 6 years old. October 26, 2008 - Witches' Brew (afternoon tea) - 2-5PM No bones about it…… Something’s was Brewing…… The 13th council meeting of the Castlevania Witches’ Guild (need at least 13 for a quorum) met at Queen's Martha's and had a scary good time. The food was ghostly sumpuous. The witches' garbs were sexy, twitchy, and sometimes downright ugly. Queen Witch Martha gave us an overview of witches and Halloween. Vice Queen Holly showed us how to apply witches makeup on her sister witch Val. Witch Sylvia did a superb job showing us the latest in witches' fashion. We even were given a history of brooms used by witches through the ages. Vice Queen Fran provided every witch with their misfortune for the day. After stuffing ourselves, we held the ritual "stirring of the pot" to rid us of our misfortunes and grant our wishes for the future. |
