July 17, 2010 -- Safari Bunco at Martha's Everyone really enjoyed this event. We had dressed in our animal prints, getting our 'shots and pills' for Halaria, guessing what animal was on our backs, eating great food and playing bunco. |

June 12, 2010 -- Beach Blanket Bingo POOL Party at Pat’s What fun we had. The vollyball game in the pool was up for grabs and ended in a dead heat of laughter. The two teams (Fran, Martha and Jeri versus Pat, Kathi and Gay) played their hearts out but the game had to end in a tie. No one could figure out what the real score was. Bingo was played using strawberry cheerios for markers. It was a good thing we each had a glass full because we couldn't help eating them. |

May 15, 2010 - Strawberry Brunch at Martha's Brunch, on the deck with Pancakes/waffles by Galen and fresh strawberries on everything. Galen really knows how to make fluffy pancakes. How do you do it, Galen? Lisa knows how to cut bacon just right using that 'good ole' microwave. There were strawberries everywhere and on everything. The weatherman really took pity on us and made the day BEAUTIFUL. We all enjoyed eating outside on the deck. We even tried to figure a way to have strawberries in the coffee but decided they tasted better with chocolate on them. |

April 25, 2010 - Surprise Granny Shower/Bunco at JoAnn's Yes, ladies we did surprise Queen's Court Granny Pat Bemis who had a grandson on March 17th....three cheers for the Irish! We ate lots of appetizers and drank our fill playing bunco and then we showered Pat's with lots of gifts for her to have at her house when her new grandson visited. We hear he'll be at Pat's during the week starting in June when the daughter-in-law goes back to work. Get plenty of sleep while you can, Pat. |

February 27, 2010, - "The President's Day" Party If prizes were given for best patriotic outfits we would have ALL won!! EVERY lady was totally decked out in red white and blue for our Presidential theme luncheon. It was difficult to pick the best, but the prize for best decorated hat went to Valerie Holman (a cute teddy bear with a red white and blue sweater)! Thanks to all of you who really got into the theme of things!! Many thanks to Holly for hostessing - your house was festive and beautifully decorated in red white and blue. A wonderful all-American lunch of barbecue and hot dogs, slaw, potato salad, baked beans, and red white and blue poke cake for dessert (with raspberries and blueberries on the side) was served. We ate in stages between Presidential trivia and President's bingo, and learned lots of 'gossipy' things about our Presidents (like who swam nude in the Potomac every day). |

January 24, 2010 - "Disney Theme Bunco" Party What fun! Bunco and everything Disney. We really enjoyed the charades trying to guess the names of Disney movies. We each word the name of a Disney character on our backs and had to figure out who we were. We could ask each other only one question as we played bunco and when bunco was over, we had to guess who we were. Thanks to Pat Bemis for playing hostess. |
